The start of BioValue
Schaap bio-energie was the start of BioValue. This was the first biogas plant under our management. The Schaap family has been active in the agricultural sector for 125 years. In 2007, the company made a sidestep toward green energy by producing biogas.
The nitrogen stripper
There is an additional component in this biogas plant’s process. Namely, the nitrogen stripper. This is a machine that converts the nitrogen from the organic waste before it goes into the digester. This allows us to process more nitrogen-rich products such as chicken manure.
