Overhaul and construction
Groengas Brabant is a collaboration between the company Jennissen from Den Dungen and BioValue. In 2021, Jennissen decided to completely overhaul the biogas plant it had acquired a few years earlier and rebuild it as a ultra-modern plant. This overhaul was made possible thanks to the existing permits (from 2013) and provides capacity for the processing of 72,000 tons of manure and organic waste annually.
Eye for the area
In all our projects, we strive for a framework that causes no nuisance to the surroundings. At Groengas Brabant, the machine that converts gas into electricity (CHP) is not installed. This is relevant because, if the CHP, if not properly insulated, it can cause some noise pollution. However, this is not a problem at this location. The storage areas for the organic waste are also equipped with industrial air filters.
